Callipygian 3D Maker
The link to the file to download will let you obtain the instruction booklet for the software that you can download from the website mentioned in the downloaded booklet. The images that you can produce with this free, "downloadable" software are merged - left and right images that are overlapped, that reveal depth when you look at either as a print you can make with an ink-jet printer, or on any computer monitor by using a pair of special but inexpensive 3D glasses. (See the 3D Glasses page under "Supplies" in the menu for sources). Color is somewhat washed out by this process.

Snappily is a company that prints flip images, but offers useful how-to information.
(Flip images are not prints with depth, but prints that alternate between two similar images to show motion, etc.). The process of making a 3D file for printing a 3D depth image is similar to the process for flip images. The company's web page showing how to uses Adobe Photoshop is quite good, but also fairly technical.

Super Flip
This is excellent free software offered for download through a very helpful retailer of supplies for printing 3D images at home. Highly recommended. Located in Henderson, Nevada, USA, (where the now infamous Nishika 3D camera and print came from). See the "supplies" page on this website for further details (or visit the link at right).

Stereo Photo Maker
Perhaps the most useful 3D photo manipulatoin software ever made. You can split dual Fuji images into separate flat files and print a wide variety of 3D products. The shooting gallery image on the home page on this site was made with this software from a Fuji .mpo image file.
To use the software, simply copy these two files to a single directory that you need to make on your hard drive. No installation is necessary. The ".chm" file contains the help and instructions. The .exe file - simply click on the file name on your computer - it will open and be ready to go. |
